Organ  builders Algis Stepanauskas and Gintautas Pilypaitis (both born  1964) built several small organs for Lithuanian churches (i.e., in  Liudvinavas Church), also practise organs for Vilnius’ Conservatoire,  and other schools. They have done some organ restorations as well.   In 1996, A.Stepanauskas and G.Pilypaitis got an invitation from the  famous Italian organ builder Gustavo Zanin and left for Udine  (Italy) for the purpose of artistic perfection at the company “Zanin”.  After returning home from Italy, a new important stage had begun:  the Workshop had won the possibility of producing and intoning the  metal-pipes. Since that, Workshop has built two organ-positives for  Marijampolė College, as well as organs for the Christian Culture  Centre of Vilkaviškis Diocese, and for St. Vincent’s Church in  Marijampolė. Their most important works are the new organs in  Vilkaviškis Cathedral (2002), in Marijampolė Basilica (2006), and in  Molėtai Church (2007).  Address: Trakų Str. 3, LT-68265 Marijampolė, Lithuania Mobile: (370-687) 53625 E-mail: mari.vargonai@takas.lt Organ builders
