Organbuilders Algis Stepanauskas and Gintautas Pilypaitis (both born1964) built several small organs for Lithuanian churches (i.e., inLiudvinavas Church), also practise organs for Vilnius’ Conservatoire, and other schools. They have done some organ restorations as well. In 1996, A.Stepanauskas and G.Pilypaitis got an invitation from thefamous Italian organ builder Gustavo Zanin and left for Udine(Italy) for the purpose of artistic perfection at the company “Zanin”.After returning home from Italy, a new important stage had begun:the Workshop had won the possibility of producing and intoning themetal-pipes. Since that, Workshop has built two organ-positives forMarijampolė College, as well as organs for the Christian CultureCentre of Vilkaviškis Diocese, and for St. Vincent’s Church inMarijampolė. Their most important works are the new organs inVilkaviškis Cathedral (2002), in Marijampolė Basilica (2006), and inMolėtai Church (2007).Address:Trakų Str. 3, LT-68265 Marijampolė, LithuaniaMobile:(370-687) 53625E-mail:mari.vargonai@takas.lt
