Public Institution “Naujasis vargonu forumas” (”New Organ Forum”), in  cooperation with Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society, arranges the  International Master Classes “Organ Summer Academy”.  The master classes will be held on August 10 - 11, 2011 in the Great Hall  of the Philharmonic Society, Aušros Vartų Str. 5, Vilnius (» see location). The course will be guided by the outstanding contemporary organ  performer and pedagogue, Professor at the Academy of Performing Arts  in Prague Jaroslav Tůma.   The theme of the classes - “Organ works of G.Böhm, J.S.Bach, F.Liszt”. The schedule August 9, 2011 18.30 - “Christopher Summer Festival 2011”: recital of Jaroslav Tůma at St. Casimir‘s   Church (Didžioji Str. 34, Vilnius). Free admission. August 10, 2011 09.30-13.00 - Interpretation course at the Philharmonic Society. 13.00-14.00 - Dinner break.  14.00-17.00 - Interpretation course at the Philharmonic Society. August 11, 2011 9.30-13.00 - Interpretation course at the Philharmonic Society.
