ACTIVITIES

The public institution "Naujasis vargonų forumas" ("New Organ Forum") was established in 2001, while looking for new standpoints and qualities in spreading of the professional organ music and aspiring after minimizing of the precipice between the church- and concert- organ playing in Lithuania.

Developing the international contacts between organists, taking care about the Lithuanian organ heritage, widening the mental outlook of the public and looking for young talents we hope to create a clear system of values and quality criteria, which would help us in seeking for high standards in organ-playing. We wish that the organists who are well acquainted with the history of Lithuanian and European organ culture would take part in the activities of our institution - that would let us cherish the new ideals and fulfill the creative plans.
