“Naujasis vargonų forumas” began its existence in autumn of 2001 as public non-profit
organisation. It arranges regularly organ concerts and festivals with Lithuanian and foreign
artists, offers an organ competition and master classes for youth, thus creating new accesses
to organ as an important part of Lithuanian culture. We’re proud that such world-famous
organists as Almut Rössler, Guy Bovet, Hans Martin Corrinth, Ludger Lohmann, and Martin
Sander had responded to our invitations to visit Lithuania and had played concerts as well as
given master classes here.
During all the years of our activities we cooperate with the local municipalities, support
foundations, foreign embassies, Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society, and others.
Meanwhile “Naujasis vargonų forumas” organizes four events in different parts of the
country. All of them go under the artistic direction of the acclaimed Lithuanian organist
Balys Vaitkus.
