It arranges regularly organ concerts and festivals with Lithuanian and foreign  artists, offers an organ competition and master classes for youth, thus creating new accesses  to organ as an important part of Lithuanian culture. We’re proud that such world-famous  organists as Almut Rössler, Guy Bovet, Hans Martin Corrinth, Ludger Lohmann, and Martin Sander had responded to our invitations to visit Lithuania and had played concerts as well as  given master classes here.   During all the years of our activities we cooperate with the local municipalities, support  foundations, foreign embassies, Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society, and others. Meanwhile “Naujasis vargonų forumas” organizes four events in different parts of the  country. All of them go under the artistic direction of the acclaimed Lithuanian organist  Balys Vaitkus. Organ Summer The International Festival “Organ Summer” is usually  held in June in the Evangelic Lutheran Church situated in  the most beautiful Lithuanian resort town Nida. Festival  offers a wide and colourful programme (from Baroque to  contemporary music) played by the famous organ  recitalists from various countries.    Organ Summer Academy “Organ Summer Academy” is the master class for young  and gifted organists guided by worldwide admired and  most experienced organ pedagogues. The main objective of  the classes is to give a highly personalized approach to  each participant and to foster the enthusiasm and  dedication of young musicians to the organ. Historical Organ Sounds “Historical Organ Sounds” is the concert series with main  focus to Lithuanian organ heritage (18th - first half of 20th  c.) which consists of more than 400 instruments over the  country. Among the historical organs there are  instruments created by notable craftsmen G.A.Neppert,  J.Preuss, N.Jantzon, G.A.Zelle, B.Goebel, J.Radavičius.   Jonas Žukas Organ Competition for Youth In spite of the fact, that famous organist and teacher Jonas  Žukas (1907-2004) had spent his mature years in exile in  the USA, the activity of J.Žukas do allow assigning him as  one of the great Lithuanian organists of the 20th century.  Since 2006, a national contest named after J.Žukas is  organized to perpetuate his memory in the home country.
